This a discussion snapshot between me & my friend.

My friend : Do you think as a shopper, I really care about  Web 3.0, how it will change my shopping experience. 

Me : Good question, have you realized ever, if we have better tools while we go for online shopping. 

My Friend: I donot know, I go to online shopping sites, search the product, read reviews.. overwhelmed with knowledge then frustrated..and buy one of them.

Me: Did you realized, why you are frustrated though you have enough information about the kind of product you are looking for.

My Friend : I donot have patience to read all this, should be something quick and smart which can give me an idea on what I should buy based on my need. I donot understand each product feature, it has some jargon, which I think may be useful for me, but hard to understand. I like to give my requirement as a common man, it should figure out the best product for me.

Me : This is too risky right; site might figure out something for you, but you might not like that..than..

My Friend : Anyway currently I may be doing worse than that as I am reading the staff, getting more confused and ultimately bought something end of the day.  Then become more frustrated why I bought this and return the product..so its too many overhead..which might be avoided if I know at first place a suitable product. If I get a bigger picture to see which products are suitable for me..some suggestions, might be helpful.
